Teenage Depression Story

Unknowingly I was suffering from teenage depression. I remember being told that High School was supposed to be the happiest years of my life but it was one of the darkest times in my life. I had a acute depression. On the outside, I was named Athlete of the Year and Student of the Year a couple of times but I sure didn’t feel like it inside.

Post Depression Success Story

DepressionGot a note from another depression sufferer. I thought I would give you an update on my health. I was at 1/2 dose of my antidepressant for 3 weeks and felt great. I have been at 1/4 dose of my regular dose for 5 days and I am feeling amazing. I have had no indicators or returning Depression symptoms, nothing at all! I have joined Karate with my family, though I get a nervous stomach before each class because I am afraid of sparring! So funny! It is a lot of fun and the positive social pressure to be there is very motivating. It is an encouraging group! I am now starting my food journal. I had started it but it got lost as I made other changes. Now that those rhythms are in effect I am putting it back out again. I have noticed a decrease in appetite and cravings and that is soooo encouraging. There is hope! I may have a waist again!!!Thank you for all your research and creating such an effective easy to implement depression program. I am not in depression counselling currently and do not feel the need. However, if stress returns I am ready to quickly seek it out before turning back to antidepressants. The hope this research has offered is incredible.Love ya friend!___There is hope!Merri Ellen
